Radiosendung "Bluesstammtisch"
Seit März 2016 sind wir auch im Radio zu hören. Ihr könnt uns (genauer gesagt Gerd und Berni) zweiwöchentlich abends ab 20 Uhr mit unserer Sendung "Bluesstammtisch" auf der Ems-Vechte-Welle zuhören. Die genauen Termine findet ihr der Seite der Sendung.
Auch in den Wochen, in denen wir nicht selbst auf Sendung sind, lohnt es sich den Sender einzuschalten, denn der Mittwochabend steht als "Wednesday Evening Blues" immer im Zeichen des Blues.

Mehr als 250 Sendungen vom Bluesstammtisch Schüttorf

Das aktuelle Moderatorenteam vom Bluesstammtisch der Bluesfreunde Schüttorf – Gerd Moeken und Berni Sundag – produzierte am 05. November 2025 seine 250. Sendung für die Ems-Vechte-Welle. Darauf haben die beiden natürlich mit einem Erfrischungsgetränk angestoßen, wie das an Stammtischen durchaus üblich ist. Und es sollen noch viele Sendungen folgen.
Joachim Stanitzek, unser Stammtischfreund und Fotograf, hat diesen Moment – wie schon bei der 150. Sendung im Januar 2022 – im Bild festgehalten.
Ursprünglich wurde der Sendeplatz von Manfred Borggreve mit enormer Sach- und Fachkenntnis und einer ungeheuren Vielzahl von Bluesvarianten moderiert. Über 16 Jahre lief auf der Ems-Vechte-Welle seine Sendung „Bluestime“. Er verstarb leider 2014. Auf Vermittlung von Heiner Reinert, dem damaligen Blues-Chef vom Heimathaus Twist, trauten sich einige Mitglieder der Bluesfreunde Schüttorf, in die Fußstapfen von Manfred Borggreve zu treten. Das waren anfangs Winfried Heerbaart, Gerd Moeken und Andreas Bethke.
In einer sogenannten Stand-By-Position hielt sich Berni Sundag bereit, der nach dem Ausscheiden von Andreas Bethke dann ständig dabei war.
Seit Anfang 2016 waren die Schüttorfer Bluesfreunde daraufhin alle vierzehn Tage mittwochs im Studio der Ems-Vechte-Welle in Lingen auf Sendung. Mit Beginn der Corona-Pandemie hat sich das geändert. Weiterentwickelte Digital- und Aufnahmetechnik machen es mittlerweile möglich, eine solche Bluessendung von zwei, meistens drei Stunden, in „Heimarbeit“ aufzuzeichnen und dann jeweils ab 20:00 Uhr am Blues-Mittwoch vom Studio der Ems-Vechte-Welle in Lingen übertragen zu lassen.
Seit April 2020 werden die Sendungen somit im privaten Studio „Zuhause“ in Schüttorf produziert. Seit dem Beginn in 2016 waren das insgesamt rund 700 Stunden Blues in großer und feinster Auswahl. Und so soll es bleiben.

Winfried Heerbaart, der von Anbeginn in 2016 dabei war, ist leider und zu unserem größten Bedauern im Oktober 2025 nach längerer schwerer Krankheit verstorben. Er hat sehr wirkungsvoll zum Gelingen unserer Sendung beigetragen. Wir bleiben natürlich bemüht, unsere Sendung in seinem Sinne und unter dem Motto „Keep The Blues Alive“ weiterzuführen.

Winnie Heerbaart gestorben
Liebe Bluesfreunde und Hörer unserer Bluessendung auf der Ems-Vechte-Welle, unser lieber Freund Winfried Heerbaart, der bereits seit längerer Zeit wegen einer schweren Erkrankung nicht mehr an der Gestaltung unserer Sendung BLUESSTAMMTISCH mitwirken konnte, ist leider am 04. Oktober 2025 verstorben. Wir sind alle sehr traurig!
